Setting off from the farm we walked up the track. The morning had been really wet but the sun was starting to make a show. We walked up the muddy path, turning into a small gateway up onto the moor. We could see a tor from where we were staying, so it seemed only right to walk up and look back at the farm. Heading up and up through the gorse, finally arriving high up at the tor. The final day in Mousehole, we decided to head over to St Ives. Our day out started at The Leach Pottery Museum. Located in St Ives, an unassuming building on the main road giving access to a fascinating tour of the history of the Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada's story of the Leach Pottery, founded in 1920. Day three in Mousehole. Having enjoyed the previous day running from Mousehole to Lamorna and back I thought I'd head in the same direction, but with more time and snacks.  To mix it up a bit I set off across the farm land, after following the footpath through a farm yard - I mean, right through, squeezing down a track between barns and cows. .  I soon joined the coast path, taking me onto Lamorna. Day two at Dolphin Rise, having been to St Michael's Mount the day before it seemed fitting to explore the South West Coastal Path in the other direction, towards Lamorna. The weather looked perfect for a coastal run. The distance between Mousehole and Lamorna is approximately 2.5 miles. There's a coastal path all the way. My first day at Dolphin Rise, Mousehole, I woke to the amazing sea views stretching across to St. Michael’s Mount. It only seemed fit to walk around the South West Coast Path to have a closer look. Mousehole, at the far end of Cornwall, is a picturesque fishing village with narrow streets, colourful houses, and safe harbour for small boats.
