The History of Romance
Whilst romance has come for many to mean flowers, chocolates and fancy dinners, the etymology of romance in fact indicates far more. The history of word is embedded deeply in ideas of adventure and nature! Originating in France, the word romance indicated an epic tale or ballad, often with themes of chivalric adventure.
